Matthew brings leadership, strategic direction, and a deep commitment to creating access and opportunity for underserved youth and systemically disadvantaged entrepreneurs. With a heart for change and a mind for business, he helps steer the ship while staying rooted in community values.
Erin Nicole McAvoy – Executive Director
The heart of E&M. Erin juggles full-time work, motherhood, and the daily operations of E&M Empowerment with unstoppable energy. She leads fundraising efforts, builds community partnerships, and keeps the mission moving forward—often on little sleep but a lot of passion.
